All children who attend Sweetcroft are welcome to the party. If your child is not contracted on that day you are welcome to bring your child at 2pm and stay for the party. Please be aware that the car park does get very full.
The Christmas play will be held on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th December at 2pm. Each child is playing a different part in the play, please see previous letter sent out regarding your child’s part and which day you are invited to watch. The play starts at 2pm, please make sure you arrive before. If your child is not contracted for the Tuesday 19th or Wednesday 20th please ensure your child is dressed and has arrived by 1.30pm. Due to limited seating places can we please ask only 2 adults per child to watch the play.
Christmas Closing dates.
Sweetcroft Day Care will close on Wednesday 20th December after the nativity play and will re-open on Tuesday 2nd January at 7.30am. Please note this in your diary. Please note that fees are still due as normal over the Christmas period as bank holidays are paid holidays and the week off is worked out over the year to cover staff wages.
Enrolment forms for any 3 year olds entitled to funding have been sent home to parents, please complete and return.
Please can we remind all parents that fees are due in advance on the 28th of each month. If your fees have fallen into arrears, please could you ensure they are up to date from the 1st January. Thank you.
We would like to welcome Jane, Kerri, Chanel and Sophie to our team.
We will be writing your child’s two year old check just after their second birthday as health visitors request a check up at 27 months. Please speak to your child’s key worker to receive this assessment.
Please could you also ensure we have your emergency contact details if you have not already completed these on your contract. These details are very important should we need to contact someone urgently.
If your child is not coming into nursery, please can you telephone or text our work phone on 07958916229 so we can redeploy staff.
Sweetcroft will be doing our best to go paperless from the New Year. So, can you please ensure we have all your up to date email addresses.

May I take this opportunity to thank all parents and carers for their continued support in working together to provide the best possible outcomes for your children. Happy Winter Term, Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.
From all the staff at Sweetcroft.
